In Memory of Dr Nicole Burman
Just as you choose a monument to someone you loved, so our business is a monument to someone we loved.
Dr Nicole Burman, daughter of Allan Burman, one of our co-founders, was an intelligent, energetic, high achieving, vibrant, brave young woman.
In spite of being diagnosed with a life threatening, astro cytoma brain tumour during her fifth year of medical studies, she bravely underwent brain surgery twice together with a full course of radio therapy and still completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland. |
She successfully completed her internship and was in the process of undertaking speciality training as a rural GP when she succumbed to the fatal effects of the tumour.
After Nicole's death, at only 30 years of age, we looked around for a suitable memorial that would reflect her wonderful qualities.
To our dismay, we found that the traditional monuments of concrete, stone or granite were very limited and drab with high maintenance problems and a short life expectancy.
We wanted something different. Something more attractive, more modern, more vibrant and more colourful. We wanted something that was much more like Nicole. We also wanted something that offered the long life she never experienced. After brainstorming the idea and concept, we developed the designs for our patent applied, stainless steel memorials that are more attractive and colourful than traditional memorials. Furthermore, our stainless steel memorials will last virtually forever and be readable for their life time. Forever Shining Memorials was started to manufacture and supply our range of stainless steel memorials. Since that time we have added granite and crystal memorial products as well as other related products to our range.
Now you, with the help of Forever Shining Memorials, can ensure the memory of your loved ones will shine on forever. |
